Young clinicians and student members
Who we are
The Young Clinicians Committee (YCC) is a group of young clinicians who are newer members of the Academy of Osseointegration. These members are active clinicians and are involved in both research and academia and come from a variety of backgrounds including Oral surgery, prosthodontics, periodontics, and general practice.
The YCC was established in 2010 to provide a platform that will bring together the knowledge of experienced clinicians and the enthusiasm of young members to raise awareness of AO and promote research and education. Our fundamental goal is to improve the quality of care that we provide to our patients.
What we do
The YCC provides a platform to bring together the knowledge of experienced clinicians and the enthusiasm of young members to help raise awareness of AO and promote research and education. Social events are planned at each AO Annual Meeting to facilitate networking among peer groups from around the world. There is no better way to get connected than face-to-face and these relationships foster professional growth and involvement throughout entire careers.
