Dec 31 deadline – 2023 On-demand Annual Meeting sessions

2023 Annual Meeting attendees have 6 months left to access the On-demand portal.

There is still time to access the 2023 Annual Meeting on-demand sessions. Continue learning at your convenience from this comprehensive cadre of world-renowned masters of implant dentistry – available until Dec. 31, 2023.

All registered Annual Meeting attendees are allowed unlimited access to the On-demand portal to enhance their meeting experience. Catch up on the sessions that you missed during the event and re-watch the sessions you’d like to see again. This On-demand portal is offered in lieu of pre-recorded sessions for purchase and easy access is provided to registered attendees through the year.

Oct 31 deadline for 2023 AO Master/Diplomate applications

Oct. 31 deadline to be recognized at the 2024 Annual Meeting in Charlotte, NC,
applications must be submitted to the AO home office

The AO Master and Diplomate Certificates is AO’s credentialing program geared towards incentivizing practitioners to obtain advanced education, training and experience in implant dentistry; promote high-quality implant education globally; and enhance patient care through highly educated implant practitioners. The program awards both AO Master and Diplomate Certificates to applicants who meet defined criteria.

Oct 20 deadline – 2024 Student Travel Grant Submissions

This Student Travel Grant is open to both AO student members and student non-members who submit an abstract for the 2024 meeting and are currently enrolled in a full-time dental school program at an academic institution at the time of the meeting.

Twenty-five $1,000 Student Travel Grants will be awarded to the recipients of the top scoring Oral Research and ePoster abstracts submitted for the 2024 AO Annual Meeting by the Osseointegration Foundation. The grant is to be allocated toward travel expenses related to attending the meeting on March 7-9, including airfare, hotel and ground transportation.

Oct 20 deadline – 2024 research abstract submissions deadline

The deadline for the 2024 Annual Meeting Abstract Submissions is Friday, October 20, 2023.

The Academy of Osseointegration invites you to submit an abstract for its 2024 Annual Meeting, March 7-9 in Charlotte, NC. This in-person only meeting will include abstracts of original research and clinical cases of interest in the field of implant dentistry. There are NO FEES for abstract submissions and no limit to the number of abstracts you may submit.

Advanced Implant Therapy for Predictable Implant Long-term Success
October 6, 2023 – Chicago, IL

Join Hom-Lay Wang, DDS, MSD, PhD, AOD, for this in-person, hands-on course designed to help dentists understand the importance of implant therapy and how to incorporate it into their daily practices.

This course is eligible for up to 6.5 hours of ADA CERP credit and qualifies for AO’s new Master and Diplomate programs.
