Emerging Leaders exemplify the excellence of AO’s younger members

AO 2023 Annual Meeting – Phoenix, AZ

The Academy recognizes its younger members in a variety of ways, fully appreciating that this growing contingent represents the future of implant dentistry. With that supportive goal in mind, AO leadership opened the main podium to feature short talks from a specially selected group of early career clinicians at the 2023 Annual Meeting in Phoenix. Six ‘Emerging Leaders’ presenters successfully kicked off Saturday’s Closing Symposium by offering their surgical and restorative clinical cases in shorter formats, each lasting up to 10 minutes.

Showcasing these younger members provides insight into a new generation of clinicians that will continue to shape the field of implant dentistry. To qualify, presenters are required to be in practice for less than 10 years and under 40 years of age. Judges will identify the “Best in Case” presentation and present the recipient with a $1,000 during the Closing Symposium.

The enormous success of this program at the 2023 Annual Meeting ensures its return in future meetings. Keep an eye on this website for more information about applying to present at the 2024 Annual Meeting in Charlotte, NC in March.
