Specific Responsibilities
- Stimulate, promote and evaluate research proposals in basic and applied implant science.
- Review such proposals and make recommendations to the AO and OF Boards for selection of the recipients of the AO and OF Research Grants and IADR Young Investigators Award in Implant Therapy.
- Develop a report to the Board of Directors as requested.

Composition
The committee shall be comprised of the Chair and the OF Vice President (to act as liaison) and as many members as deemed necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Committee. Members are selected by the chair in consultation with the President-elect and approved by the Advisory Committee on Committees.
Term
- Three-year term for the chair
- No limit on consecutive three-year terms for members
